Based on blade shape, low-pressure, high-volume centrifugal fans can be divided into two main categories: forward-curved multi-blade and backward-curved. Mainstream models achieve aerodynamic efficiency of 65%–85%, with some high-efficiency products reaching over 90%. With variable frequency control, the speed can be adjusted according to actual flow requirements, saving 20%–40% more energy than traditional fixed-speed fans. Newer models achieve energy efficiency level 2, saving 18%–22% in energy, resulting in significant long-term operating cost advantages.

3. Stable Operation and Low Noise

The impeller undergoes precise dynamic balancing (balance level up to G4.0), resulting in minimal vibration during rotation. With the addition of a sound-absorbing structure, both aerodynamic and mechanical noise are kept to a low level. The low-noise model achieves ≤75dB(A) noise at a distance of 1 meter from the equipment, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments. Built-in silencers at the inlet and outlet significantly reduce operating noise.

4. Compact Structure and Easy Maintenance

Mainly composed of an impeller, casing, air inlet, transmission assembly, and base, it has fewer parts and a low failure rate. Routine maintenance only requires cleaning the impeller and checking bearing lubrication. The A-type direct drive eliminates the need for a pulley, resulting in high transmission efficiency, fast response, and lower noise. Optional accessories include inspection doors, drainage holes, and air dampers for further convenience in daily operation.

5. Wide Media Adaptability

Different materials can be selected as needed: Q235 carbon steel is suitable for general operating conditions; 304/316L stainless steel is suitable for corrosive gases; and aluminum alloy impellers are suitable for explosion-proof applications. It has a wide operating temperature range, with standard models ≤80℃ and high-temperature models reaching 550℃–750℃. Furthermore, it can be manufactured in explosion-proof (BGFBL) and corrosion-resistant (FGFBL) versions to meet the needs of special working conditions.

6. Flexible Installation

The low-pressure, high-volume centrifugal fan is compact and can be installed horizontally or vertically. The inlet and outlet directions are flexibly adjustable (six angles are available: 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, and 270°), making it suitable for space-constrained environments (such as machine rooms and suspended ceilings). The integrated steel base with spring vibration dampers provides high stability.
